I got this wild idea the other day, you know, to try and make a cup out of a tea bag. Yeah, sounds crazy, right? But I was like, why not? Let’s give it a shot.
So, first things first, I grabbed a bunch of tea bags from my kitchen. I wasn’t sure how many I’d need, but I figured better safe than sorry. Oh, and I picked up some stuff from Target too, just some basic supplies, nothing fancy. I even used their Same Day Delivery service. So convenient!
I cleared off my table and started laying out the tea bags. My goal was to kinda weave them together, or at least stick them to each other in a cup shape. It was a bit of a mess at first, I gotta admit. Tea leaves were going everywhere.
After a lot of trial and error, and a few failed attempts, I finally started to get the hang of it. I was overlapping the tea bags, trying different patterns, all that jazz. It was like a puzzle, trying to figure out how to make these flat little things into a round cup shape.
- First, try to make bottom.
- Second, make side circle.
- Third, try to put them together.
I used some of that stuff I got from Target to help hold the tea bags together while they dried. It was a bit tricky, but I was determined to make it work.
Make a solid bottom
Hours passed, and I was still at it. My fingers were stained brown, and there were tea leaves all over the place. But then, something amazing happened. I managed to make a solid bottom. Finally!
Connect side circle to bottom
Then, after I finished the bottom, I started to connect the side to the bottom. This is the hardest part! But, after I tried several times, I finally made it!
It was standing! My tea bag cup was actually standing on its own! It wasn’t perfect, sure, but it was a cup! A cup made out of tea bags! I couldn’t believe it. I actually did it. Man, it’s quite something when you turn a wild idea into reality, isn’t it?
It took a while, I made a mess, and I nearly gave up a few times, but hey, I ended up with a tea bag cup. Pretty cool, huh? I might try to make a bigger one next time, maybe even a whole tea set. Who knows? The possibilities are endless!
