Okay, so I’ve been trying to get into different kinds of tea lately. I saw these Celestial K-Cups and figured, why not? I’m usually a coffee person, but I’m trying to, you know, branch out.

Getting Started
First, I grabbed the box. It was the “Sleepytime” one, because, well, who couldn’t use a little help winding down at night? I inspected the box, because.I always do check these, looked at the ingredients – chamomile, spearmint, the usual suspects for a calming tea.
Brewing Time
Next, I popped one of those K-Cups into my Keurig. Super simple, right? That’s the whole point of these things. I pressed the brew button, the small one, because I didn’t want a huge mug of tea before bed.
- Waited for the machine to do its thing. It’s kind of loud, my Keurig, always makes me jump a little.
- Watched the tea stream into my favorite mug. It was a nice, light amber color.
The Taste Test
I took a tentative sip. Hmm, not bad. Definitely tasted the chamomile, which I like. It was pretty mild, not too strong or overpowering. I added a tiny bit of honey, because I like my tea a little sweet, even the sleepytime kind.
I finished the whole cup while I was reading, and you know what? I actually did feel a little more relaxed. I won’t say the Celestial K-Cup was the ONLY factor, but it definitely helped to drink this before sleep. Maybe it’s the ritual of it, or maybe those herbs actually work. Either way, I’ll probably keep these around for nights when I need a little extra help chilling out. It’s a thumbs-up from me, I will definately try another flavor next time!
