Well, well, well, look at this thing, a fish tea pot, huh? Who woulda thought? Never seen one of these before. It’s, uh, shaped like a fish, you see. Looks kinda funny, like it swam outta the water and landed right here on the table.
You pour the hot water in here, see this hole on the top? And then, I guess, the tea comes outta the fish’s mouth. Imagine that! Pourin’ tea from a fish! My grandkids, they’d get a kick outta that, I tell ya. They’d be gigglin’ and pointin’, sayin’, “Grandma, the fish is pourin’ tea!”
Now, what’s it made of? Feels kinda heavy. Like, like that clay stuff, you know? The stuff they use to make pots and bowls. Gotta be careful with it, though. Don’t drop it, or it’ll break into a million pieces. Then you won’t have no fish tea pot no more.
What’s it for, you ask? Well, for tea, of course! What else would you put in a tea pot? You boil up some water, put the tea leaves in the fish, pour the hot water on top, and let it sit for a bit. Then you pour it out into your cup and drink it. Simple as that.
- Boil water.
- Put tea in fish.
- Pour water.
- Wait a bit.
- Pour in cup.
- Drink.
Is it better than a regular tea pot? I dunno. Never used one of these fishy things before. Seems like a regular pot would do the same job. But maybe, maybe this one makes the tea taste…fishy? Ha! Just jokin’. Probably tastes the same.
It’s kinda pretty, though, with all them colors. Got blue and green and, what’s that, purple? Like a rainbow fish. My granddaughter, she loves rainbows. She’d probably like this fish tea pot.
You can find these things online, I hear. The “inter-web” or somethin’ like that. My grandson, he’s always on that thing. Says you can buy anything you want. Fish tea pots, clothes, food, whatever. Don’t know how it all works, but he seems to know.
So, this fish tea pot, it’s a conversation starter, that’s for sure. People come over, they’ll see it and ask, “What’s that?” And you can tell them all about it. “It’s a fish tea pot,” you’ll say. “For pourin’ tea outta a fish’s mouth!”
Now, where’d you get this thing anyway? Was it a gift? Did you buy it yourself? Musta cost a pretty penny. These fancy things, they ain’t cheap. But if it makes you happy, then I guess it’s worth it.
Anyway, gotta go now. Got chores to do. But thanks for showin’ me this fish tea pot. Never seen anything like it. Maybe, maybe I’ll get one for myself someday. Or maybe not. We’ll see.
