Okay, so I’ve been on this whole “trying to be healthier” kick lately, and that includes my morning caffeine fix. I used to be a die-hard coffee person, but I’ve heard so many good things about green tea. So, I decided to give these Celestial Seasonings green tea K-Cups a try. Here’s how it went down:

The Hunt
First, I had to actually find these things. I went to my usual grocery store, checked the coffee aisle, the tea aisle…nothing. Finally, I asked someone, and they pointed me to this little “natural foods” section I didn’t even know existed. Score!
The Brewing
This part was easy, obviously. I popped one of the K-Cups into my Keurig, just like I would with a coffee pod. I selected the 8-ounce setting, because that’s my usual mug size. It brewed up nice and quick, no problems there.
- Pop the K-cup into the machine
- Select water amount
- Brew
The First Sip
Okay, I was a little nervous. I’ve had green tea before, and sometimes it can be, well, kinda grassy. But this was actually pretty good! It was definitely smoother than other green teas I’ve tried. It had that classic green tea taste, but it wasn’t overpowering or bitter.
The Experimentation
I’m not gonna lie, I like a little sweetness in my drinks. So, I experimented a bit. First, I tried it plain, just to get the real flavor. Then, I added a tiny bit of honey. That was pretty good! Next, I tried a squeeze of lemon, which is a classic combo, and that was also tasty.
My favorite ways to drink it:

- Plain.
- With honey
- With lemon and honey
The Verdict
Overall, I’m a fan! These Celestial Seasonings green tea K-Cups are a super convenient way to get my green tea fix. They’re not as strong as some loose leaf teas, but for a quick and easy cup in the morning, they’re perfect. I’ve pretty much replaced my morning coffee with these, and I’m feeling good about it.
The tea turned out to be a light, clear green in my mug. It wasn’t cloudy or murky, which I appreciated.
