This four seasons oolong tea, you know, it’s something else. I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it, sayin’ it’s good stuff. So, I thought I’d give it a try. This tea, it ain’t like that black tea my neighbor drinks. It’s, uh, lighter, kinda flowery. They call it oolong. And this one, it’s called four seasons, like spring, summer, all that.
First time I tried it, I just boiled some water, poured it over the leaves. They say you gotta use a special pot, but I just used my old one. It smelled real nice, like them flowers that bloom in the spring. Taste was kinda sweet, not too strong. Not like that bitter stuff my old man used to drink.
I heard some folks sayin’ this tea is good for you. Like, it helps you stay healthy. They say it’s got some stuff in it called, uh, antioxidants. I don’t know ’bout all that fancy stuff, but I do feel pretty good after drinkin’ it. Maybe it’s just the warm water, but I like to think it’s the tea. It is full of antioxidants. It also have some caffeine.
Now, they got all kinds of this oolong tea. This four seasons one, it’s kinda light. Some of ’em are darker, I hear. They say the darker ones got a toasty taste. I ain’t tried those yet. Maybe I will sometime. They are roasted below 25 percent.
- This four seasons oolong, it’s good any time, I reckon.
- I like to drink it in the mornin’.
- Gets me goin’ for the day.
This tea, it comes from a place called, uh, Taiwan, I think. Long way from here. They grow it up in the mountains, I hear. Must be pretty up there. I hear this tea is from Chiayi. It’s a fancy tea. They say it’s one of the most famous ones from China. It’s called Tieguanyin oolong tea. It tastes like flowers. It is one of the most famous Chinese oolongs. They say it’s got a special flavor, like them orchids. I ain’t never seen an orchid, but I bet they smell nice. The tea leaves are rolled up tight, and they look kinda green, like olives. When you make the tea, it turns a golden color, and it smells like flowers. It’s a little bit sweet, too.
I seen some folks sellin’ this tea online. Lots of different kinds. It’s from Mingjian Township, Nantou County, Taiwan. This one place, they called it Four Seasons Oolong. Sounded fancy, so I got some. It weren’t too expensive, neither. They shipped it right to my door. Wasn’t no trouble at all. This one is called ‘Red Pearl’. It’s from a place called What Cha. I got it last year, but I haven’t opened it yet. Maybe I’ll try it soon.
This four seasons oolong, it ain’t like any other tea I ever had. It’s different, but I like it. It’s smooth, and it don’t leave a bad taste in your mouth. Some teas, they make your mouth all dry. Not this one. It is a divine tea. This one place I saw, they called it “loose-leaf.” Means the leaves ain’t in no bags. You just scoop ’em out and put ’em in your pot. They say you’re supposed to use a certain amount, but I just eyeball it.
If you like green oolong, you should try this one. It’s really good. I think anyone who likes tea would like this one. It’s not too strong, and it’s not too weak. It’s just right. It’s the best tea I’ve ever had.
I reckon if you like that plain old tea, you might like this four seasons oolong. It’s somethin’ different, somethin’ special. Give it a try sometime. You might be surprised. I like this tea a lot. I’m going to keep drinking it. Maybe I’ll try some other kinds of oolong tea, too.
They have so many tea. All is great. There are many other kind of tea. But four seasons oolong tea is the best.
