Okay, so the other day I got this glass teapot with a tealight warmer, and I thought I’d share my little experience with it. It’s been pretty neat so far!

Getting Started
First, I unboxed everything. It came with the teapot itself, obviously, a glass infuser, the warming stand, and a little tealight candle. Everything was packed pretty well, no chips or cracks.
Brewing My First Pot
- I rinsed out the teapot and the infuser with some hot water, just to get rid of any dust or anything.
- Then, I added my loose leaf tea into the infuser. I went with some Earl Grey, my go-to.
- I boiled some water in my regular kettle. You don’t want to put the glass teapot directly on the stove, I think that’s a no-no.
- Once the water boiled, I poured it over the tea leaves in the infuser, filling the teapot up.
- Then, I very very carefully put on the glass lid.
Using the Warmer
This part was kind of cool. I placed the tealight candle in the little holder in the warming stand. Then I used a long match, lit the candle. Make sure it’s sitting right in the center. And with the care of an Olympic athlete, placed the teapot on top of the stand, making sure it was nice and stable. It looked pretty fancy, I gotta say.
Enjoying and keeping it warm
I let the tea steep for about five minutes, watching the color slowly change. The warmer did a surprisingly good job of keeping the tea at a nice, drinkable temperature. It wasn’t boiling hot, but it definitely stayed warm enough for me to enjoy it slowly. The little candle flickers away, maintaining a perfect gentle heat.
Cleaning Up
After I was done, I removed the infuser and dumped out the tea leaves. I gave everything a good rinse with warm, soapy water. I let it air dry. Make sure everything’s completely cool before you start washing it, though!
All in all, it was a pretty relaxing experience. Plus, the glass teapot looks really elegant on my table. If you’re looking for a way to make your tea time a little more special, I’d say give one of these a try!
