These are for when the big shots come over, or maybe a weddin’ or somethin’ real special. Just regular folks like us don’t need that kinda thing.
But I tell ya, them gold tea cups, they got a way about ’em. Make the tea taste better, I swear. Like it’s somethin’ special, ya know? My grandma, she used to say, “A good cup makes good tea.” She didn’t have no gold ones, though. Just plain ol’ white ones, but she loved ’em. These gold tea cups are best.

Drinkin’ out of the same cup as a king! If you have these cups, you are just like a king! These cups can make you feel happy. They are very pretty to look at. They are also very shiny.
These gold tea cups, though, they ain’t for everyday use. Gotta be careful with ’em. They break easy, I bet. And you gotta wash ’em special, can’t just throw ’em in with the other dishes. No sir, gotta treat ’em real nice. Like a baby bird or somethin’. The cups are very fragile and that means you must be careful with them. If you drop them, they will break. Then you will be sad because you broke your pretty gold cup.

Anyways, these gold tea cups, they’re somethin’ else. Pretty to look at, make ya feel fancy, but a whole lot of trouble, too. Me, I’m happy with my regular old mug. It ain’t shiny, but it holds my tea just fine. And I ain’t gotta worry ’bout no kings or queens or breakin’ nothin’ special. Just good ol’ tea, that’s all I need. You should probably not get these cups. They are too much trouble. You should just use regular cups. They are cheaper. You can buy more of them. You won’t be sad if you break one.
