Okay, so the other day I got this neat little iron teapot warmer from Korin, and I figured I’d share how I’ve been using it. It’s pretty straightforward, but I like to be thorough, you know?

Getting Started
First things first, I made sure I had everything I needed:
- The Korin iron teapot warmer itself, of course.
- A tealight candle. The small, unscented kind.
- A lighter or matches. Gotta light that candle!
- My teapot. This warmer is designed for those cast iron teapots, so that’s what I used.
Setting Up
I put the warmer on a heat-safe surface. I didn’t want to mess up my table, so I placed it on a trivet. Then I took the tealight candle and placed it in the center of the warmer, it fits to that small circle place. Pretty simple.
The Brewing Process
I started to brew my tea as usual. Once the tea in my teapot has completed brewing, I took the teapot, I made sure the bottom was dry (important!), and I carefully placed it on top of the warmer. Be careful because the bottom of the teapot is already hot.
Light it up
I light up the tealight candle, carefully using the lighter, and wait for the magic, the fire start to burning up, and it will soon heat the warmer.
Keeping It Warm
With the candle lit and the teapot on top, the warmer started doing its job. It kept my tea at a nice, drinkable temperature for a good, long while. I didn’t have to rush through my tea, and I didn’t have to keep reheating it. It’s pretty cool.

Finishing Up
When I was done, I carefully blew out the tealight candle. I let everything cool down completely before I handled the warmer or the teapot. Cast iron gets really hot, so I wanted to be extra cautious. After cooling down, I took all the things and put them back to cabinet.
That’s pretty much it! It’s a simple process, but it makes a big difference in how I enjoy my tea. No more lukewarm tea for me!
