Today, I stumbled upon this KINTO tea cup, and I just had to give it a try. I’ve been looking for a simple, elegant tea cup for a while now, and this one seemed to fit the bill.
First off, I went ahead and ordered it. The process was pretty straightforward, nothing out of the ordinary. It arrived pretty quickly, too, which was a nice surprise.
When I got it, I immediately noticed how light it is. Seriously, this thing is super lightweight. I took it out of the box and washed it thoroughly. I mean, you gotta wash new stuff before you use it, right?

The cup comes with a lid, which is handy for keeping the tea warm, and even a filter. I guess you could brew loose leaf tea directly in the cup if you wanted to. I haven’t tried that yet, but it’s cool that the option is there.
Drinking from it was a pleasure. It felt good in my hand, not too hot, not too heavy. Just right. I also tried to use it with a saucer. It looks great with it.
I’ve used it a few times now, and I’m really digging it. It’s just a simple, well-made tea cup. It holds about 8.8 fl oz (220 ml), which is a good size for a decent cup of tea. I even saw some reviews for their coffee machines, but I’m not there yet, I only care about these cups right now!
Honestly, if you’re in the market for a new tea cup, I’d say give this KINTO one a shot. It’s a small thing, but it really does make the whole tea-drinking experience a bit more enjoyable. I saw that this brand has other products, I might buy some of them later.
It looks like a small business brand, so it feels good to support them. It is lightweight and feels good. I hope it can be used for a long time. I think I made a good purchase.
