Okay, so I picked up some Lipton black tea K-cups the other day, and I thought I’d share my little tea-making routine with you all. It’s nothing fancy, but hey, it works for me!
The Gear
- First off, I grabbed my trusty Keurig machine. You know, the one that’s always there for you when you need a quick caffeine fix.
- Then, I grabbed one of those Lipton black tea K-cups. These things are pretty convenient, I gotta say.
Brewing it Up
I popped the K-cup into the machine and hit the brew button. The size is not important this time. It’s just a common size. I do not care about it much. While it was brewing, I thought about whether to add anything to my tea. Lipton says you can add milk or lemon. Lemon sounds good with Earl Grey, and I know milk in black tea is a classic British thing. But I decided to keep it simple this time and just enjoy the plain black tea.
The machine did its thing, and soon enough, I had a steaming cup of Lipton black tea. I also found out that Lipton selects its tea blends from different plantations worldwide, including places like Sri Lanka, India, Kenya, and China. That’s pretty cool, I guess. They also use orange pekoe and pekoe cut black teas. I guess that’s why it tastes decent.
Sipping and Reflecting
I took a sip. Not bad, not bad at all. It’s got that classic black tea flavor, and it’s pretty smooth. I read somewhere that in moderation, plain Lipton tea can be part of a healthy diet, as long as it’s not loaded with sugar or artificial stuff. Good to know.
So, that’s my little Lipton black tea K-cup experience. I just wanted to share how I usually do with the tea. I just want to try simple this time, so I do nothing and directly drink it. It’s an easy and quick way to get my tea fix, and sometimes, that’s all you need. I hope you enjoy your tea too!
