Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get a glass teapot for a while now. I love the look of them, and I figured it would be nice to actually see the tea steeping. Plus, I’d been using a regular old ceramic teapot, and honestly, it was a pain to clean, especially with loose leaf tea.

So, I started looking around. I wanted one with an infuser, you know, the little basket thingy that holds the tea leaves. And then I saw some with warmers, those little candle holders underneath that keep the tea warm. I thought, “Ooh, fancy!” I decided to go for it – a glass teapot with both an infuser and a warmer. I wanted the whole experience.
I found one I liked and ordered.
- The pot is made of this clear, heat-resistant glass,so I do not worry if broken.
- The infuser is stainless steel, which is good because it won’t rust or anything.
- The warmer is just a simple glass stand with a spot for a tealight candle.
When it arrived,I was excited. I unboxed everything carefully.
First thing I did was wash all the parts. Just warm soapy water, nothing fancy. Then I dried everything thoroughly.
To actually use it, I put the infuser basket into the teapot. I scooped some of my favorite loose leaf tea into the infuser – I think it was an Earl Grey. Then, I carefully poured hot (but not boiling) water over the tea leaves, filling the teapot up to the level I wanted.

I put the lid on and then carefully placed the teapot onto the warmer stand. I’d already lit a tealight candle and put it in the warmer, so it started doing its thing, keeping the tea nice and toasty.
I let the tea steep for about five minutes. You could see the color slowly changing, getting darker and richer. It was actually pretty mesmerizing to watch!
After it steeped, I carefully poured myself a cup. The tea was perfect! The infuser kept all the leaves out, so no bits floating in my cup. And the warmer kept the rest of the tea at just the right temperature, so I could enjoy it at my own pace.
Cleaning up was easy, too. I just removed the infuser, dumped out the used tea leaves, and rinsed everything out. Way easier than my old ceramic pot!
Honestly, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s made my tea-drinking ritual a little more special, and it’s just a pretty thing to have on my table. If you’re a tea lover, I definitely recommend trying one out!
