Okay, so the other day, I was browsing online for some new teas to try, ’cause I’m a big tea fan, you know? And I stumbled upon this thing called “Milk Oolong” from The Republic of Tea. I was like, “Milk Oolong? What’s that all about?” It sounded interesting, so I decided to give it a shot.
I found a listing for it on some online store, it had a picture of a small tin, about 1.53 oz, looked pretty neat. I added it to my cart and checked out. The waiting game began, which is always the hardest part, right?
A few days later, the package arrived. I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning. Inside, there was the tin of Milk Oolong tea. It smelled kinda sweet, which was a nice surprise. I popped the lid and saw the tea leaves all rolled up tight. They didn’t look like any regular tea leaves I’d seen before.
I put the kettle on and waited for the water to boil. While waiting, I read the instructions on the tin. It said to use hot, but not boiling, water, and to steep the tea for a few minutes. I followed the instructions as best as I could, ’cause I didn’t wanna mess it up.
Once the tea was ready, I poured it into my favorite mug. The color was a light golden, kinda like honey. I took a sip, and wow, it was something else. It had this smooth, creamy taste, even though there’s no actual milk in it. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and it had a nice, floral aroma. I’ve heard some folks say that some oolong teas can have a milky flavor or texture without actually having milk, and I guess this is one of them. It was like a warm hug in a cup.
- First, I found the tea online.
- Then, I ordered it and waited for it to arrive.
- Next, I followed the instructions and brewed the tea.
- Finally, I enjoyed a delicious cup of Milk Oolong tea.
My Thoughts
Honestly, I was really impressed with this Milk Oolong tea. It’s definitely different from any other tea I’ve had before. It’s smooth, creamy, and has a unique flavor that’s hard to describe. I’ve heard people talk about “Competition Grade Tie Guan Yin” and how it’s the best oolong, but I gotta say, this Milk Oolong is up there for me. I’m not sure if it’s the best, but it’s really, really good. I’ll definitely be drinking more of this stuff in the future. If you’re a tea lover, you gotta try this!
