Okay, here is my sharing about how I rented tea cups:
So, I decided to throw a little tea party. It wasn’t anything too fancy, just a nice get-together with some friends. I wanted it to feel a bit special, you know? I thought, why not use some vintage tea cups? It would add a nice touch.
First, I started looking around for places where I could rent these. I didn’t want to buy them because, honestly, where would I store a bunch of china afterward? Plus, it’s way cheaper to rent. I hit up a few local rental shops and even checked some online places. I compared prices and what they offered. Some places had these beautiful sets with all the works – teacups, saucers, little plates, and even sugar bowls. It was pretty tempting.
- Checked local rental shops
- Looked up online rental services
- Compared prices and collections
After a bit of digging, I found a place that had a really nice selection. They had these delicate, floral-patterned cups that I fell in love with. The price was decent, too. I think I ended up paying around $400 for everything, which wasn’t too bad considering how many pieces I got.
The rental process was easy. I just told them how many guests I was expecting, picked out the designs I liked, and set a date for delivery. They took care of everything else. They even offered to deliver and pick up the cups from my place, which was a huge relief. I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
When the day came, they delivered the tea cups, along with some other stuff I rented like teapots, dessert stands, and hot water urns. Setting up the table was actually kind of fun. I laid out a nice tablecloth, arranged the cups and plates, and added some flowers. It looked really pretty, if I do say so myself.
Setting Up
- Received delivery of tea cups and other items
- Arranged the table with a nice tablecloth
- Set out the tea cups, plates, and flowers
The party went great. Everyone loved the tea cups. They were definitely a conversation starter. People were taking pictures and admiring them all afternoon. It felt good to see everyone enjoying the little details I put together.
After the party, I just packed everything back up. The rental company came the next day to pick it all up. It was super convenient. I didn’t have to wash anything or worry about storing it. Just like that, it was done.
All in all, it was a great experience. Renting the tea cups made the party feel extra special without breaking the bank. I’d definitely do it again. Maybe next time I’ll try a different theme or something. But yeah, if you’re thinking of throwing a tea party, I highly recommend renting some vintage china. It’s totally worth it.
